A School with Messages
Built out a basic messaging system—and wow, it already changes how the app feels. Being able to talk inside the platform makes it feel less like a tool and more like an actual place. It’s starting to feel like a school now.
The foundation for the three pillars is up
The core pieces are finally falling into place—auth, user roles, profiles, and even a working screen that feels like an actual app. It’s still early and rough, but the shape of the thing is there now. The foundation’s no longer just an idea—it’s starting to look real.
My First Milestone
Hit my first milestone with DiCMS! I’ve got a basic blog engine up and running, and it’s already feeling like something I’d actually want to use. Lots more to do, but it’s starting to feel real.
Locations are complete!
After lots of back and forth, the Locations feature is finally done—and it turned out way more polished than I expected. It’s one of those pieces that actually feels “done,” not just good enough to move on from. Small, solid wins like this keep the whole thing moving.
Only a month in between posts now
Finally hitting a rhythm again—just a month between posts this time! It feels good to have some momentum back, even if progress is still slow and mostly invisible. Not everything needs to move fast to move forward.

Upgrades and decisions
This week, my brain wanted to sprint while the rest of me just needed a nap. Lots of ideas, lots of tabs open, not as much done as I hoped—but a few key pieces did fall into place. Sometimes it’s chaos, but it’s forward motion.

Some weeks are tougher than others, and this one brought its fair share of distractions and burnout. Still, I managed to chip away at the work and keep the momentum going. It’s not flashy progress—but it’s progress.
